My still life painting “Croton” earned an award of “Honorable Mention” at the New England Regional Open Exhibit conducted by the Marblehead Arts Association.  In this painting, and many of my recent paintings, I have been cultivating a more fluid style.  It differs from my earlier impressionist paintings by following the geometry of the subject and reverberating that through the background.
